The restaurant did not choose its name from a book. From the rooftop at The Sitting Elephant in Rishikesh, you can watch elephants cross to the far bank of the Ganga to drink, unhurried, enormous, and ancient. That moment, repeated at dusk for as long as anyone can remember, is the whole story. We simply built a table beside it.

Even the bathrooms were absolutely spotless and blemishless, which added greatly to the overall experience. One of the highlights of the stay was the breathtaking view from the hotel. Waking up to the scenic beauty of Mussoorie was simply refreshing. The breakfast buffet spread was vast, delicious, and very pleasing to the taste buds, offering plenty of options to start the day on a happy note. Dr Sumit MittalWe stayed in premium suite with river view at Elbee Ganga hotel. The breathtaking panoramic view of Ganga and mountains made our stay memorable. The staff behaviour was very polite and humble they guided us to Ganga Arti at Triveni ghat and morning Ganga bath was also assisted as we had children with us so it helped us a lot. The food at rooftop restaurant was very tasty and hygienic. Overall we enjoyed the stay and will visit again.
